| Abstract | Postelsia palmaeformis (Ruprecht) is an intertidal brown alga belonging to the ecologically and economically important group of seaweeds commonly referred to as kelp (Order Laminariales). Six polymorphic microsatellite loci were identified for this monotypic genus. The number of alleles ranged from two to five, with observed heterozygosities ranging from 0.00 to 0.704. |
